credit cards with bad credit

credit cards with bad credit

If your credit rating isn't so good, your choice of credit cards with bad credit is limited. You may be able to get one of the higher rate cards which have less stringent acceptance criteria, or even be offered a card with a higher APR than that shown in the advertisements. You may have to settle for a secured credit card which you need to load with funds before you can use it.

There is a middle ground of cards specifically aimed at people with a poor credit history, or those new to finance who have nothing on their credit file at all. These credit cards with bad credit have little in the way of features, and have interest rates way above those found elsewhere. While they aren't a good choice for long term borrowing, credit cards with bad credit make an ideal way of re-establishing your credit rating by building up positive data on your credit file through responsible use.

People who are just starting out might find it hard to get a loan or a credit card. That’s because having no credit history makes it difficult for lenders to know if you’re a good risk to repay a loan and make your payments on time.

Establishing a good credit history is not as difficult as it seems. In all cases, however, you’ll need to make payments on time. Some tips include:

• Apply for a credit card through a local store. Local stores are more likely to extend credit to people without an established credit history.

• Apply for a secured credit card. By borrowing against your own money, creditors find this to be far less risky.

• Ask someone with a good credit history to co-sign on a loan or a credit card application. By co-signing, the person is agreeing to pay back the loan if you don’t.

The best credit cards with bad credit are secured credit cards which can find on this web site.
